Tried Mary Grace for the first time and here's our honest little family review ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ‘‡

So my hubby just came back from a trip to the Philippines ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ and I specifically asked him to bring me the oh-so-famous ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜† ๐—š๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜€๐—ฎ๐˜†๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ — I’ve been hearing about it for ages and couldn’t resist the hype! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ’•

I was super curious to see what the fuss was all about!

First of all, the packaging? Absolutely charming ๐Ÿ’Œ✨ And the texture is really soft and delicate — it definitely has that homemade, artisanal feel ๐ŸŒฟ

Buuuut… if I’m being completely honest (with a kind heart! ๐Ÿ’–), it didn’t quite blow me away ๐Ÿ˜…

It’s good, yes — but I personally found it a little overrated and quite pricey for what it is ๐Ÿ’ธ Maybe I just had sky-high expectations after all the hype? ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Since I was already in pasalubong-request mode, I also asked him to bring home the ๐—ฏ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜„๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ฒ ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ and the ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ so we could try a few more goodies from Mary Grace ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ‹

The ๐—ฏ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜„๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ฒ ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ was rich and very sweet — a bit too sweet for our taste.

The ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ, while also just okay, was the most balanced of the three — zesty and refreshing enough to stand out a little. So far, it’s our favorite among the bunch… but still not something we’d go out of our way for next time ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ‹

That said, I truly appreciate the love and care that clearly goes into their products ๐Ÿ’•

And I completely understand why so many people have an emotional connection to them.

๐—ง๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฒ ๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฏ๐—ท๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ — and that’s the beauty of it. What’s “just okay” for us might be a comforting classic for someone else ✨๐Ÿฝ️

I’m still really glad we got to try it all! ๐Ÿ˜Š

I’d still be open to trying more from their menu in the future (especially with a cup of barako coffee next time! ☕๐Ÿ’ญ)

✨Monday Motivation: Empower Yourself ✨

As I kick off a new week, I’m reminded that life can throw some serious curveballs. While it’s easy to look to others for support, I know that real strength comes from within. ๐Ÿ’ช๐ŸŒŸ I like to remind myself: “You are your own strongest ally; trust yourself to navigate life’s challenges, for true strength comes from within.” ๐ŸŒˆ

Whenever uncertainty or overwhelm creeps in, I tap into that inner power and trust my instincts. ✨ Every challenge is just another chance to grow and level up! ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ”ฅ

Here’s to embracing my journey, believing in myself, and making this week amazing as I continue to push forward! ๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’ซ

๐ŸŒˆ Feeling Grateful Through the Storm ๐ŸŒˆ

Wow, the past few weeks have been a rollercoaster ride of emotions! ๐ŸŽข๐Ÿ’” It all started in mid-September when I wasn’t feeling my best, but we decided to have our usual family day out. Just a little outing to recharge! ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ’– The very next day, I got hit with a nasty fever and body aches. ๐Ÿ˜ท So off to the doctor I went, armed with meds and a determination to keep up with work. #MomLife ๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ’ช

Then came the real test: my 23-month-old toddler fell ill. ๐Ÿฅบ After a lethargic afternoon, he spiked a high fever that wouldn’t go down, even with meds. My heart raced with worry—what if it was something serious? ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ’” We rushed him to KKH for a thorough check-up, and seeing him go through tests and needles was absolutely heartbreaking. He just wanted to be held! ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ’•

After what felt like an eternity, we finally got the news: viral flu. ๐ŸŽ‰ While I was relieved it wasn’t anything worse, the struggle continued. His appetite was MIA, but thank goodness for milk—his little comfort! ๐Ÿฅ›✨

I chose to work from home to keep a close eye on him, and we decided to stay in that weekend to rest and recharge. ๐Ÿก๐Ÿ’ค Just when we thought we were on the mend, my 17-year-old son called me at work, feeling unwell too. ๐Ÿ˜ฉ He ended up with influenza, and the fever lingered on for days. It was a whirlwind of emotions as we navigated sickness in our home. ๐Ÿ˜ซ

As a family, we pulled through, especially with my hubby away in the Philippines for a week. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ’” Juggling everything was a challenge, but our amazing housekeeper was a lifesaver! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’•

When hubby finally returned, our toddler’s face lit up with pure joy! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅณ It reminded me of the simple joys amidst the chaos.

Reflecting on these experiences, I felt so overwhelmed and scared at times. ❤️ The love and support from family and friends, as well as the doctors who cared for my kiddos, made a world of difference. I’m truly grateful for every little moment we share, especially during tough times.

Here’s to health, resilience, and the love that binds us together! ๐Ÿ’–๐ŸŒŸ Cheers to brighter days ahead! ๐ŸŒˆ✨

✨ Finding Grace in Solitude ✨

With my hubby off taking care of some things back in Cauayan (definitely not a vacation—wish there were an emoji for missing someone! ๐Ÿ˜ข), I’m managing our busy household ๐Ÿ , supporting our teen, and caring for our little one. Plus, I’m juggling my work tasks ๐Ÿ’ผ and making sure our wonderful home support is well looked after. ๐Ÿ’ช✨

His role is so essential ๐Ÿ’ž, and it’s in these moments that I really feel how much we lean on each other ๐Ÿค. Balancing everything while he’s away has been challenging and a reminder of the incredible team we make. It’s been a gentle nudge to remember that I’m doing okay ๐ŸŒŸ, and that taking time for myself is just as important as anything else ๐Ÿง˜‍♀️๐Ÿ’–.

Even with the separation blues and the daily hustle, I’ve found some sweet moments to pause and reflect. It’s amazing how a bit of solitude can remind you just how much self-care matters. These little pockets of peace have shown me that taking care of myself is key to keeping it all together. ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’–

Here’s to finding serenity in the chaos, embracing self-care ๐ŸŒฟ, and treasuring the everyday moments. ๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŒŸ

๐ŸŽ‰ Tiny Tot Triumph! ๐ŸŽ‰

Our sweet little one, now 21 months old, has officially kicked his pacifier habit to the curb for almost 3 months! ๐Ÿš€ We’re overjoyed with how smoothly he’s adapted. ๐ŸŒŸ

At 18 months, his favorite pacifier, affectionately known as "TATA," had a bit of a rough patch—chewed, bitten, and finally punctured. Even though it was a little worse for wear, we decided to keep it around and cleaned and sterilized it every single day. ๐Ÿงผ๐Ÿ”ฌ Despite our best efforts, he wasn’t too impressed with the “upgraded” version and would toss it aside. ๐Ÿ˜…

The first few days were a rollercoaster of tears and tantrums, but we stuck to our guns and slowly he forgot all about his TATA. Now, he’s a happy little guy, totally pacifier-free and loving it! ๐ŸŽˆ๐Ÿ‘

Here’s to celebrating the little wins and watching our tiny human grow up faster than we can say “goodbye TATA”! ๐Ÿฅณ❤️
